SW-Soft acquires Ensim divisionAdd to September 11, 2007 SW-Soft, a server automation and virtualization provider announces today that it has acquired the Ensim Pro software division of Ensim for an undisclosed amount. The two companies will however remain independent entities. Ensim's Pro control panel is used businesses, Linux and Windows hosting companies and service providers. Ensim's Pro control panel is used to automate the process of setting up and managing Windows and Linux Web servers, email accounts and software applications. Ensim Pro will be added to SW-Soft's lineup of automation solutions, which also includes Plesk, Confixx, HSPcomplete and PEM. Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft said "with our increased investment in automation, Ensim Pro customers can expect the full resources and support of SW-Soft. By integrating Ensim Pro with other SWsoft automation and server virtualization products through our OPEN FUSION platform, we will extend the benefits of standards to Ensim Pro customers." The acquisition will help SWsoft in broadening its portfolio of automation software and extending its OPEN FUSION and application packaging standard initiatives to benefit a greater number of ISVs, service providers and end customers, says the company.
