iWeb Group delivers strong first quarterAdd to Mar. 3, 2007 After the close of markets, on Thursday, iWeb Group (TSX-V: IWB) announced the financial results of its first quarter of 2007 ending Dec. 31, 2006. The results for the first three months of fiscal 2007 once again established new all-time records.  For its first quarter, iWeb Group Inc. recorded consolidated revenues of $1,956,177 an increase of $814,068, or 71 percent higher than the same period in 2006 when revenues were $1,142,109. "Overall, we are extremely proud our team succeeded in maintaining this strong growth, while standing by our high-quality reputation for service," said Martin Leclair, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. "Our first quarter is in line with our objectives, and we are satisfied with the results. It’s a good start for 2007. Now we need to concentrate on keeping the same pace for the rest of the year," adds Eric Chouinard, co-founder and CEO of iWeb. Overall, gross profit increased by $449,553 or 75 percent, from $599,452 in 2005/2006 to $1,049,005 in 2006/2007. Net earnings were of $92,995 compared to $71,482 for the same period in 2006. EBITDA grew from $242,859 to $459,709, an increase of 89 percent.
