Moniker announces today that it will be hosting a multi-million dollar live auction of premium domain names at T.R.A.F.F.I.C West in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Moniker says that conference attendees will be given the opportunity to bid on valuable domain names including Greeting.com, Pizza.mobi, OnlineVideos.com, Privacy.com and RealEstate.mobi.

"Internet domain names are critical assets for all businesses, whether they are launching a new product or a new marketing campaign," says Monte Cahn, CEO of Moniker.

He added "businesses and 'domainers' alike need to consider domain names as investment vehicles that grow in value over time.

This live auction offers businesses and domainers the opportunity to find multiple assets that will complement their business needs and help grow their domain portfolios."

The live auction will take place on March 7 at at The Venetian Resort, Hotel and Casino. Moniker will also be hosting a silent auction in conjunction with the live auction, which will run online from March 6 to 14.

Overall, Moniker says the last silent auction netted over $600,000 with names selling for amounts between $200 and $100,000.
