iWeb gets TSX Tier 1 designationAdd to Apr. 24, 2007 iWeb Technology announced today that the TSX Venture Exchange has granted its conditional approval for iWeb's tier classification change from Tier 2 to Tier 1. Overall, iWeb's management says it has met the requirements of TSX Venture Exchange Policy 2.5 - Tier Maintenance Requirements and Inter-Tier Movement. iWeb also said the classification change will be effective upon satisfactory review of the personal information forms of the two newly appointed directors of iWeb. Tier 1 is the TSX Venture Exchange's premier tier and is reserved for the most senior issuers, which benefit from decreased filing requirements and improved service standards, says iWeb. Eric Chouinard, iWeb's co-founder and current CEO said "we are very proud of where we are today and what we have accomplished so far." Chouinard added "our conditional approval from the TSX Venture Exchange demonstrates our serious commitment to continued growth as an advanced Web hosting services company. Being recognized as a Tier 1 provider sets yet another major milestone for iWeb." IWeb recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 31, 2006. Add to Source: The WHIR
