Miva, an Internet advertising network announced today the U.S. and U.K. launch of its MIVA Precision Network, a vertical PPC (pay-per-click) network designed to enhance targeting. This in turn helps drive higher value leads for MIVA advertisers.

Currently in beta, MIVA's new Precision Network will operate alongside MIVA's existing Core Network.

Overall, MIVA says its Core Network will continue to offer broad distribution and deliver leads to advertisers across all sectors, while MIVA's Precision Network will offer narrower distribution and deliver only vertical specific leads.

The MIVA Precision Network will span eighteen sectors in the United States including adult, apparel, dating, electronics, real estate, technology and travel. In the U.K., the Network will initially span five sectors including automotive, health and beauty, finance, gambling and recruitment.

"As the PPC market continues to mature, we believe there will be increasing demand amongst advertisers for both horizontal and vertical networks," says Peter Corrao, CEO of MIVA."

He added "the MIVA Precision Network has been developed to give our advertisers additional choice and flexibility depending on the specific objectives of their overall PPC campaigns."

"The new network is designed to provide lower volume, higher value leads to advertisers, while our core network will continue to provide a higher volume of leads at a lower cost," added Corrao.

MIVA also recently announced the launch of MIVA Monetization Center, a product that enables Web publishers to tap into new revenue streams.
