Data center automation software provider BladeLogic has released BladeLogic Release 7.
BladeLogic says the data center automation platform enables multiple IT departments to manage, control and enforce changes to applications and their underlying infrastructure through its synchronous management architecture.
This architecture enables organizations to synchronize configuration management activities between dissimilar IT teams performing different management actions.
BladeLogic ensures provisioning, configuration management and compliance management actions are made in accordance to the overall needs of the business.
It also improves the IT service quality, reducing operational costs, enabling companies to become more compliant with policies and allowing greater flexibility to respond to change in the data center.
"Since deploying BladeLogic Release 7," says Chris McDaniel, director of IT operations for Rearden Commerce, "we now have consistent server and application builds and clear visibility to what has been installed on each server".
In turn, this is helping Rearden Commerce to improve our operational processes and maintain compliance with corporate, security and regulatory polices."
