Content delivery network provider Mirror Image has inked a deal with
Nine Systems.
Under the new partnership, Nine Systems will include Mirror Image's Content Access Point network as part of its Network of Networks content delivery solution, designed to rapidly and securely deliver rich media content to customers' end users.
Nine Systems says its Network of Networks is the industry's first aggregated network that dynamically routes rich media through a hierarchy of Nine Systems' and partner CDNs.
This agreement will enable Nine Systems to enhance and augment its existing content delivery capabilities, providing a high-quality and seamless experience for the company's customers.
It will also enable Mirror Image to deliver more content for more customers. Nine Systems says it will begin delivering content worldwide through Mirror Image's CAP network this week.
"Mirror Image is committed to fast, reliable content delivery, and partnering with Nine Systems will enable our two companies to serve an even greater number of customers and end users," says Jim Hart, VP of sales and marketing for Mirror Image.
"Mirror Image's recent network upgrade and European expansion will allow Nine Systems to deliver digital content through the Mirror Image network anywhere in the world".
Hart added "through this agreement, we'll continue to grow our own expanding CDN
business."
