IT outsourcing broker RampRate announced last week it has opened a New York City office
in response to strong regional demand from media, entertainment and financial services
organizations headquartered in the region.
RampRate's New York team is led by Michael Hoch and Steve Lerner. Michael Hoch is the VP of research and operations at RampRate, and oversees the company's primary research activities, SPY Index development and operations and IT outsourcing analysis for RampRate clients. His previous experience includes research at Aberdeen Group and Harvard University.
Steve Lerner is the practice Leader of content delivery networks and management for RampRate.

He has worked on large-scale content networking, storage and delivery for over 13 years. At Speedera Networks, he built and managed the market's second-largest CDN service that was eventually sold to Akamai.
