Hewlett Packard has completed its acquisition of Peregrine Systems,
an IT asset and service management software company.
HP says Peregrine will become part of the HP OpenView business unit, which develops enterprise management software and is headed by vice president and general manager Todd DeLaughter.
The company says the newly acquired assets will add key capabilities to the HP OpenView portfolio, enabling enterprises to gain more insight and control over their technology environments.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
