Web hosting company C.I. Host says it has enlarged its 38,000
square-foot Dallas data center as part of its ongoing effort
to meet the needs of a growing client base.
The first 100 square feet of the facility was claimed on the first day by a customer who purchased a private data vault colocation package. Within the first week, 10 percent of the new space was filled.
"Our colocation and dedicated servers orders are skyrocketing," says Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "Our Crazy Deal specials are driving the forward movement and increase in revenues."
C I Host's new Newark facility opened last month with 25 clients ready to move in, and construction is starting on the ninth and final expansion of the 1851 Central Drive location in Bedford.
A new Dallas data center is scheduled to open in the spring or summer of 2006. C I Host also has data centers in Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as a facility slated to open in London.
