ICANN hosts special meeting October 19 to 21 in Taiwan
ICANN's special meeting will be called "Toward the New Era of the Internet" and will include various discussions on Internet security and the challenges it presents to governments, hosting providers and end-users. The meeting will also underline the importance for a migration to IPv6 because of the depletion of widely-used IPv4 IP addresses.

SW-Soft acquires SaaS provider Sphera
Server automation provider SW-Soft announces today that it has acquired SaaS (software-as-a-service) technology provider Sphera. SWsoft said it will merge Sphera with its automation software division that currently powers thousands of servers for businesses and service providers globally.

SW-Soft, a server automation and virtualization provider announces today that it has acquired the Ensim Pro software division of Ensim for an undisclosed amount. The two companies will however remain independent entities.
