Important security hole detected in the DNS system
Less than one day after a security company accidentally posted details of a critical security flaw in the Internet's DNS (Domain Name System), potential hackers are saying that software that exploits this hole is sure to pop up real soon. The author of one widely used hacking tool said he expected to have an exploit by the end of the day yesterday. HD Moore, author of the Metasploit penetration testing software said that the attack code was not going to be very difficult to write.

Microsoft will ship its SQL Server 2008 next month
Microsoft said Wednesday it will ship its SQL Server 2008 next month. The software giant disclosed the news at the MWPC 2008 (Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference) in Houston. Speaking at the show, Bob Kelly, corporate vice president of the Microsoft Server and Tools division, said that Microsoft will launch its end-to-end virtualization stack in an event for press and analysts on September 8, 2008.
